History & Mission Founded in 2002, CareWell is a not-for-profit organization registered with the Government of India. Our mission is to improve academic performance of school children by identifying and correcting vision and hearing problems; which are both widely prevalent and often undiagnosed. · Improve academic performance of school children · Improve school retention among children · Diagnose and correct vision and hearing impairments in school children · Educate teachers to identify children with vision and hearing impairments · Educate parents and caregivers in prevention and early diagnosis of widely prevalent vision and hearing conditions in children. We primarily work in schools in the slums and poor neighborhoods of India.
We primarily work with school children from urban slums and poor neighborhoods in India. We also work with teachers and parents of these children.
